I was really happy to support some local businesses near me, and was thinking it was a very small business based on the size of the building and the number of employees they have (3-4). I got a great haircut from a very knowledgeable stylist in a very comfortable atmosphere. However, beware of the sticker shock. I asked for no shampoo or styling because I had a limited amount of time, and when we were all done my price was $50 at the register for a women's dry haircut! Would be much more willing to go back if any of these prices were displayed or admitted to BEFORE I'd already had it done!
Hilites Hair Salon does the best hair color and haircuts in all of Central Maryland! I came into the salon recently needing all over corrective hair color and hair extensions to match. The owner colored my hair and extensions that I had just purchased and they look perfect! I can't believe it, I thought with all of the corrective hair coloring I needed that they would never look identical but they do. I am never disappointed and have been to this salon many times for everything from hair straightening and keratin treatments to updos and make up application. The deep conditioning treatments keep my hair looking healthy.The hair and beauty stylists are well trained and very creative with color and style. They offer great advice and explain everything well and then do exactly as you request. After I moved to Baltimore, I still make the trip often like I did recently. They do the best mens hair cuts for my boyfriend too. It's not a manly barber shop like he is used to but he is always happy with the look afterwards. I always recommend them to my friends and even complete strangers! There is a great selection of beauty and hair products to buy and the salon is very clean and professional.

I received the greatest hair cut and color at Hilites. They really know how to color hair here. My hair is so soft and beautiful. I felt like a different person walking out. Amazing experience; definitely worth the price!
